Hi you should be able to reformat as part of a fresh windows installation.when you run your disc after the initial checks /and window file installation you are given a opportunity to choose a partition/usually you will select ;c;/you are then given an opportunity to delete the old window(reformat).choose the long reformat as quick is only used for new hard drives .when after reformating.windows will reboot .if your not familiar with installing a new window be aware when windows reboot to start instalation .dont touch any of the keys on your keyboard .just let it reboot .hope this helps.
