I accidently found the answer to this problem. I needed the Vista driver for my Lexmark E-210 and scoured the internet. I was upset that Lexmark did not have one on their site, and I then thought I had no choice but to find someone else who might have posted a driver to solve my problem. I was afraid to download drivers from some of these sites because I didn't know if there was a virus attached. I finally decided to take a chance on one of them that looked safe, so plugged my Lexmark e-210 into the USB port of my new computer, and all of a sudden Vista recognized the printer and load the driver automatically. The problem solved itself. I don't understand why Vista has the correct driver, and why Lexmark does not have that driver on their site.
