Can I use my online account to determine which items i purchased are under manufacturer's or Best Buy Extended Warranty (purchased by me at time of sale)?

Sounds like the power supply has failed. If it is still under warranty contact the manufacturer for repair, or if you purchased an extended warranty through the retail outlet then contact them.

hi,hoping that the cable connections are right(check the cable connections once again)..... Sounds like you may have a problem with the video driver boards? I would call up the store where you bought it and ask for a new set or service on this one.
More than likely this is a bad display (lcd screen) the drivers in the lcd display have some problem...... the tv is just a month old so you are still under the warranty period....... just contact the sony outluet where you purchased or the manufacturer for servicing of tv

Your rights under customer warrenty


if the unit is less then 3 yrs old then it comes under expected to last warranty this law says that items above $100 u.s must last more than 3 yrs if they dont the company must give you a replacement if not fixabe or a money back refund this is law demand your right just say 3 year expected life warranty and see the look on there face it always makes me laugh at people who buy extended warranty's in this case the dept of consumer service has got your back <br /><br /><br />best of luck <br />

TV keep go on and off by itself while we watching


This could be a loose power cable. Worse, it could be an issue with the internal power supply to the TV which is not user serviceable--meaning you cant fix it yourself without voiding the warranty or potentially damaging other parts of the TV.

How old is it? If it is still under factory or extended warranty, present it to your dealer or the manufacturer for servicing or replacement.

The cost of repairing TVs like the ones today can easily surpass $500 for your type of problem. If it isnt under warranty anymore, perhaps it is best to purchase a new one.

TV hit by lightning. Will Best Buy replace without questions?


Ask and see but I would not mention the lightening---if its 3 months old the LG warranty should cover the repair or replacement.

They will not know at all it was lightening unless you tell them.

"This thing just stopped working" they will either get it fixed or get you a replacement set.

I have had my tv for about 2-years. I am now getting ghosting,and lines when i first turn it on. Then it is fine when it warms up. Now it stays bad longer and longer. I have read on line quite a few...


If you purchased an extended warranty with it then call up the store you bought it from and see if they will service it. If you didn't buy the extended warranty then you might be out of luck. The ghosting and lines was a problem that we saw at best buy. It always required a service or a new screen. You might also check the samsung website and see if they have a new firmware update for your T.V. If you could post your model number I can look up to see if there is a new firmware update for your T.V.

TV WILL NOT TURN ON BUT VIZIO LIGHT IS ON


The Service Plan from Walmart is an "extended plan" on top of the manufacture warranty. Your Tv is still under warranty from the manufacture.

Take it back to where you bought it if it's still under warranty, they are obliged to fix it!

Extended warranty


Hi deputy bill,

To find out if you purchased an extended warranty, contact Westinghouse at (866) 287-5555. They may also be able to provide support for the problem you are reporting.

Keep in mind that retailers also offer extended warranties or service plans. If Westinghouse advises you that you did not purchase an extended warranty, check with the retailer from whom you made the purchase to see if you may have purchased a plan from the retailer.
