How to reset?

Look on the back and around the edges of the unit. There should be a small hole that will need a paperclip for you to reset the unit, It may be hidden and most times has very tiny writing on it but it does say reset, Just push this and the unit will reset itself.

Also i know you didn't ask this but it's a common question anyways. Do not program your home address into the unit under the quick buttons and do not set up the security password on the unit. Most common question i see is "How do i find out my password?"

Answer you don't, you pay Magellon and i have no idea what they charge.

Hope this helps

Need new screen for magellon explorist 100 gps

http://cgi.ebay.com/Magellan-eXplorist-100-200-210-300-400-LCD-Screen-/350437050321?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5197ad07d1

My recommendation would be simply to replace entire unit unless you have experience fixing electronics.

Magelllan GPS

Sounds like the pronge on the unit might have come loose from the print, or the pronge is damaged internally. It might still feel like it's properly attached, though. I've steen the same problem of several other types of electronics. (Laptops, electronic pianos and so on) I'de get an electronics serviceman to check it; it's probably a bad connaction in the pronge or from the pronge to the circuit board.

Downloads title only

I had this problem also with my 500. I worked around it by putting numbers only in the first column and naming in the next column I think. I do not have the program in front of me but work with that. I will double check later if you still have prob.
