im unsure if this phone is a android device or not but if it is android settings > security > factory reset if not try booting the phone into its bootloader screen and try from there
Most cigarette lighter circuits can handle up to 20 amps of current draw. Go over that and bye bye fuse...The lighter itself will draw 10 amps when it creates a direct short to heat up. As you can see. a 5amp is useless.

there maybe a upgrade for maps out online you can get to help. I have the same GPS as you, and I have 48 state maps and canada and puerto rico on mine.
Sounds like the pronge on the unit might have come loose from the print, or the pronge is damaged internally. It might still feel like it's properly attached, though. I've steen the same problem of several other types of electronics. (Laptops, electronic pianos and so on)
I'de get an electronics serviceman to check it; it's probably a bad connaction in the pronge or from the pronge to the circuit board.
I had this problem also with my 500. I worked around it by putting numbers only in the first column and naming in the next column I think. I do not have the program in front of me but work with that. I will double check later if you still have prob.
