Make is Fiskars but no Model no,Handles are 39 cms long which extend to 79cms.

On the end of the handle is an Open or Close portion which is turned to the Close

position to KEEP it in the extended position. However this state is not maintained

as the handle tends to slip back to the unextended state! The unit has silver handles

with black grips and orange turn buckles at the end with Open Close positions and

the appropriate arrow Any help? Thanks John

Does it tighten well or is the bolts/nut stripped?
If it does not get tight it may loosen through vibrations. If it does not get loose, you can always remote the terminal, cover the bar with a 2 or 3 time electrical tap, then put the bar back on and they should stay in place well. The terminals can get slightly seperated where they hold fairly tight but can slip eventually. If the bolt is long enough through the handle and terminal, you could try a lock washer or loctite that will hold it. The tape on the handle bars will help them from slipping out of position.

Is there a make and model number for this machine? I'm not sure what handles we are speaking of. Thanks.

You'll need to replace the turn stops that lock the handle in place, or drill a hole and add a small bolt thru the handle to keep it in place. A model number would be great, but I was not able to find any parts without it. It seems this is an old unit also.

Remove radio ford

They make a inexpensive radio removal tool that consists of 2 "U" shaped prong like handles that insert into the 4 "square" holes on the face of the radio edge, 2 being on the left side and 2 on the right side near the edge. Gently insert the the 2 section tools into the 4 holes as sorts 2 "handles" and gently pull the radio out of dash area. The terminals have lock tabs that you need to depress to thus remove the speaker and power terminal connections. Auto Zone, Advance Auto, O' Reilly's and NAPA usually have the fairly cheep little tools, that look almost as though they were made from "coat hanger" wire rod.

We opened the door, now door won't close. The closer rod is locked open

Turn the screw in the end of the shaft (on the door end) counterclockwise to release all the pressure.Once it closes or slams shut, use that screw to adjust the closing speed. Other problem could be the stay open lock (the metal piece that slides along the shaft) could be all the way out keeping the door from closing. If it is just push on the door a bit then slide the lock plate all the way back to the end of the shaft, and the door will close.

HOW DO I FIX MY OFFICE BOSS CHAIR IT LEANS BACKWARDS AND WON'T STAY STRAIGHT

without sounding like a smart ***, have you checked the adjustors under the seat. Some handles are 3way handles and can do multiple adjustments. If you have adjusted all the knobs and handles, maybe it is leaking gas or in some case oil. Some of these chairs have an extra knob at the back of the seat along the column of the back rest, as to lock it in the desired position. Good luck.

Both door handles in the interior have broken off, it is amanual door lock. This is a 1999 Toyota Corolla

Get two new handles.

Unscrew the phillips screw located in the center of the handles. Slide the handle assembly backwards and out. Unclip the clip that holds on the metal lock-rod (needle nose pliers helps with that), and remove the lock rod. Fit the rod into the new handle's clip, and snap the clip into place on the new handle. Slide the front end into the door cavity, and then the back side. Reinsert the phillips screw. Very easy to do.

Baldwin 6321 mortise:when locked can open from either side

It sounds as if the lock is installed backwards or more specifically in inside mechanism. The inside lever/handle when turned should retract the deadbolt (safety feature). If yours does not currently switch around.

Hi,
There should be two black triangular attachments with little red handles that go on to the sides of the buggy. You use the grey handles at the end of the side arm of the buggy to pull the rear locking pins backwards and then slot the attachments on to the front pin with the red handle pointing forwards. Release the grey handle and it will lock into place. When both sides are in place, simply drop the car seat on to top of the two attachments. Removal of the car seat is by using the red handles.
