There are (2) resetable thermostats in this particular oven, the first is located on the rear of the unit behind the panel ( if standing behind unit its in the upper left hand side of unit. 2 wires leading to the thermostat and a small "buton" to press to reset it. if it doesnt work after resetting that one then the second on eis located under the control panel behind the second burner knob from the right.. to acess this pne youll need to remove the burner knobs::: then loosen and remove the plastic hold down under the knobs, the contriol panel will lift off thenand then remove the 4 \screws holding hte clock assy in position, when thats lifted out of the way( no need to disconnect)you see hte same resettable thermostat moundted on the unit rigth behind that second switch, simply reach in and reset it...TURN POWER OFF PRIOR TO EITHER REPAIR LIVE WIRES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Frigidaire gas stove, oven will not work. Shows F30 code

That is an error with the temperature sensor.
Unplug the unit or turn the circuit breaker off for 60 seconds.
Restore the power to the appliance by plugging it back in or turning the circuit breaker back on. If you still have the problem here is a link to order the replacement part and a video how to replace the part which is fairly easy to do.

Error code F30 on a frigidaire ples389ecc oven.

THAT CODES MEANS EITHER THE PROBE SENSOR OR THE ELECTRONIC CONTROL IS BAD. UNPLUG. WITH WIRING DIAGRAM AND OHM METER, TEST THE TWO WIRES GOING TO PROBE. IF YOU GET ABOUT 1100 OHMS, YOU HAVE A BAD CONTROL. IF YOU GET 0 OR INFINITY, IT'S THE SENSOR OR THE WIRES BETWEEN THE PROBE AND THE CONTROL

What is F30 error?

Range made by Frigidaire, cannot pull up info right now for that F30 code, just the F3 which means something is wrong in the sensor circuit, sensor, wiring harness or the EOC/clock...what does your tech sheet tell us this F30 means??? What was the ohm reading on the old sensor.....if changing this did not solve the problem about down to checking the wiring harness, if it is ok back to the clock causing the problem if the F30 pertains to the sensor circuit failure....

The F30 error code indicates that the electronic oven control board detects an "open" oven temperature sensor probe circuit.
This is usually caused by a failed oven temperature sensor probe.

Replacing this component will likely fix your problem.

You can order this part from www.searspartsdirect.com website.

If you replace this part yourself, be sure that you unplug the range to disconnect electrical power before accessing this component.

On some models, you can replace the probe by removing the screws that mount this component to the inside back wall of the oven.
Carefully pull the probe inside the oven cavity until you encounter the wire harness disconnect plug.
Unplug the sensor and replace it with the new one. Mount the new probe on the back wall of the oven.

On some models, you have to remove the lower back oven panel to access the sensor probe.

If you replace the probe and still have this problem, you will need to unplug the range and measure the resistance through the violet wires that plug into the control board (this is where the sensor probe circuit is connected to the control board).
If the resistance through the oven temperature sensor probe circuit is normal (about 1100 ohms at room temperature) then the electronic oven control board will need to be replaced.

Frigidaire Electric Range error code

Hi jacksmdmat,
Your f30 problem may be a bad sensor circuit. It may have an open connection or just plain defective sensor. Check the connection between the clock and the sensor as well as disconnect and measure the resistance of the sensor - should be about 1090ohms at room temp (75F)
