Question about Philips Audio Players & Recorders
Hello. Unless it is a hardware fault try the following:
Do you have your software disk that came with it?
Keep it handy and try this:
Firstly select "Start" then "All Programs" and locate your software for your player (could be Phillips Digital Audio Player) go to device manager and select repair.
If that doesn't work try this option which starts you from scratch.
WARNING: You will lose your music from the player.
Go to my computer and look for drive E (or whatever drive letter your USB port is): (should show "Philips")
Rick click and select Format E:
Erases all your music and sets your player to the default setting.
If your firmware is not in place at this stage, then reinstall this from the Phillips Digital Audio Player software.
This process should get rid of any bugs/corruption in the software.
