Error 1612 comes up with I try to update or uninstall. My PDF's won't print.

Try using the windows install clean up utility to uninstall adobe reader. Go here to download it http://www.geekstogo.com/forum/files/file/397-msicuu2exe/
After you install it, run it and erase everything that is adobe. After you do that try to reinstall the latest version of Adobe reader from Adobe's website and see if that helps

I accidentally updated to adobe dc. It was a wreck. I have removed it. Now, I used to be able to save things I made to a PDF. I am getting an Error. It says


You don't want to be playing inside the Windows Registry unless you are very sure what you are doing.

Reload the program Adobe Dc and remove it in Control Panel Add Remove programs.

Then reload the version you had before.

FWIW, I got rid of Adobe. I use Foxit Reader which is great and not bloated like Adobe is.

S405 printer won't communicate with computer when trying to print


First, make sure that the firmware of your printer is up to date. Just go to http://bit.ly/ghfW8H to download the firmware update.

If the firmware update doesn't help, try to uninstall the Lexmark driver and download an updated driver online at http://bit.ly/rtOKTx. Just choose the Operating System of your computer.

Also, if your printer is connected to your network, try to set a static IP to your printer to prevent it from getting a different IP.

As soon as I press print on my computer the error light on the printer goes on and it won't print

First try uninstalling the printer drivers in windows, and check for driver updates on your manufactures website. Reinstall the drivers and software and try printing again, If problem persists then you may have a hareware issue in the printer or comm problem.

Unable to upgrade my Adobe reader 8.2.2.217 I get error msg 1612, which which states it can't find the installation source and asks me to verify there is one.


If it's Adobe reader then you need to uninstall your current version and download the latest version from the Adobe website and install from fresh. www.adobe.com Your error message should go away.

Dear Mark, You do not need to upgrade driver but you should reset your data cable even it is parallel. After pluged again you should take a reboot and then try to print again.

IBM InfoPrint 1612 Repeatedly erroring - Paper Jam


Check the FUSER, I think your exit sensor is bad.
If you open the rear door, look inside where the paper starts to come out of the printer, you should see a small lever that triggers the PAPER EXIT sensor. It might be hard to see. If it is not broken, you need a new FUSER.

Can't print from the 'print' button on screen, will copy and scan from printer, will run test from computer


try uninstalling the update as long as it is not one necessary to new programs. Find the uninstall for it by doind a search in the run menu, and the uninstall file should come up. Follow prompts. Now try printing again. If this fails, you may have to uninstall printer drivers ie go to remove programs, unilnstall printer and all related files. Now reinstall using your original printer canon disk for your operating system. Try printing again.
