Very common problem caused by pressure waves, try singing off mic but on axis so maybe a 6inches away.
or buy a pop shield (transparent audio foam to cover the mic capsule)

should sort it out, if this does not work then the mic may be damaged.

hope this helps
thanks for using FixYa

You need a pop filter while recording. There are different reasons why a "pop" would get recorded in the signal. Either because of the harsh P's and T's while singing or rapping like "Business", "Pain", "Property", etc. or it could be jitter problem due to an unstable clock. Mostly you would recognize these ones cause they don't sound like the pops coming out o a persons mouth. They're more like clicks. Your problem, from what I understand is due to the former reason. That's why you will need a pop filter.

My u87 cuts out when you get to close but comes back on in 2 secs seems to be wind pressure from singing. many thanks Graham

problem is a dirty capsule caused when fogged with humidity from breath it shorts out temporarily. it maybe possible to have it professionally cleaned but may need to be replaced. DO NOT USE FOAM POP FILTERS. Spend the money on a metal one. back off if you wanna save some loot.

When i start sing with the music cuts out and i only hear vocals when i stop singing the music comes back?

The PSM200 system dot not have any "ducking" circuitry in it, so it would not be able to cause this. It appears this is a setting on your mixer that needs to be changed.

At 2050 microphone is not working. It was working, seems to have died

Make sure you are using phantom power with that mic because it is a condenser microphone. Also work the high pass filter switch, and the pad switch. hope this helps. If you were singing into it, hopefully you used a pop filter, like a windscreen, because if the capsule receives a lot of moisture from singing into it, it will fail. Hope this helps.

Magic sing....i cant hear my voice or anything but all videos and songs are fine help!

you need to replace the voice coil. it is already grounded, that is the one inside the mic ball (where you speak or sing). it is not repairable so you need to purchase a new voice coil
