I have been using the D-Link DP-301P+ for about a year with a Epson 980 stylus printer on a home network (2 computers) without any problems until recently. Now I can only print a single copy of the same document (problem is the same from either computer). When I try to print the same document a 2nd time, the printer prints a single line (no text) across the top of the paper, and formfeeds to a 3nd sheet of paper and repeats this same print process. In order to stop the this printing action I must remove the D.C power cable from the DP-301P+. The printer works fine when I connect it to the parallel port of one of the computers. O.S. No I cannot print 2 copies (selecting number of copies = 2). The DP-301P+ works fine for about 15 to 30 minutes after power up, as it get warmer and up to operating temp is when it fails. This problem is common to all computers on the home LAN. It is not O.S related. At the end of my computing day I power off all outlet strips, this includes all network devices in order to conserve energy.
What happens if you set ti to print more than one copy at the same time? Will it print multiple copies then?
