SOURCE: eye piece on my Bushnell rifle scope is loose.

There should be a lock ring that you need to snug up against the eye piece. Vibration can sometimes cause this ring to come loose.

SOURCE: where can i buy new Bushnell Voyager 78-9675 eye

Many on line retailers sell eyepieces. They come in three sizes, .965, 1.25, and 2 inch.

Measure the hole in the focuser. The .965 inch size is harder to find.

Here are two retailers who sell eyepieces:

How to disassemble my bushnell sportsman rifle scopes coz i wnt to clean it

On my Bushnell scope I have an adjustable angle ring that will bring in the view, it is held in place with 1 screw. remove it and pull down towards the windage and elevation adjustment screws. There are 3 tiny phillips screws, remove them. Then unscrew the end of the Eye Peice end peice with the lens in it. inside on the outer edge of the main tube there is a locking ring that keeps the eye peice from unscrewing off, remove it and unscrew the entire eye peice. you are now ready remove the inner tube. Be careful here this is where you can damage the cross hairs and lose the leaf spring that maintains pressure against the windage and elevation screws. When you reassemble after cleaning and with the elevation screw at 12 o'clock and windage screw at 3 o;colck, the leaf spring will be in the 7 or 8 O"clock position, it just sits in there up against a little ridge inside, with the bow facing to the center. Back off the elevation and windage screws all the way so they don't block the inner tube from going in all the way. Once it is in adjust it so the cross hairs are orented correctly and put it back together. If you want to refill with Nitrogen remove the front lense and take to someone that fills tires with Nitrogen and inject the nitrogen into the scope, Quickly reinstall the front lens as nitrogen is about 3% lighter than air and if you take too long it will all escape.
This worked well for me. Good Luck and Happy shooting

Recently lost gun in water for a moment, Now scope gets fogged inside. Is there anything I can do to stop it? It a fairly new scope.

Your scope may not be hurt if water has not caused any rust yet. Things you will need, (1) hair drier, (2) Vaseline, (3) large clear plastic bag, (4) gas from a paint ball gun canister or similar type of inert gas you can use. Remove the eye piece, and shake as much water out as you can. Use the hair drier and heat the tube up, not too hot but warm, to dry the inside as good as you can, keep after it, shaking it and heating it. Once you feel all the water and moister are gone. Put a good amount of vaseline on the threads of the eye piece. The put the scope, the eye piece in the plastic bag. Use the paint ball gas and inflate the plastic bag, tie off the bag leaving room so you can screw the eye piece back on the main tube. Leave the scope in the bag for a few minutes before you do screw the eye piece on letting the gas fully get in the tube. The gas will give a bit of positive pressure inside the tube, Will displace any other air that will have moister in it. Keep the inside from fogging back up. The vaseline will help seal the gas inside. Hope this Helps Fix Ya up.

Even though the scope was marked 22mag could it still be used with out damage on a regular 30-06 rifle, thanks for your time

Everything I could find on your scope says that it can be done, provided that you can get the correct mounts.

It looks like the optics will be able to handle the stronger kick of your '06, but because they are much smaller than a full-sized rifle scope at 32mm, you will be limiting yourself because the scope cannot drink in as much light for the longer ranges that the '06 is capable of.

One thing that you have to be careful of is that since a .30-06 kicks ALLOT more than a .22, that you set the scope far enough back so that it does not hit your eye when you fire. You do NOT want your eye right up against it, because after you fire your rifle you will get a bloody black eye!

You should seriously consider a scope with a larger aperture. If cost is a problem, Look around at Sportsman's guide.... I got a real nice 6X29 40mm BSA scope from them for about 80 bucks!

Is this going make diffirents in at the Range or on the hunt?

Your problem is in the bases/rings. Remove the scope from the rings. Lay a straight edge in the bottom of the rings. The straight edge should touch both rings equally. If i understand you right, you have run out of adjustment up. If so, there will be a gap on the front ring. Verify that you have the correct bases for your rifle first of all. Then, depending on the rifle, you may be able to swap the front and rear bases/rings and correct the problem. Check alignment as above. NOTE: After rings are corrected, re-center scope elevation. Turn elevation screw on scope one way untill it stops. Count the clicks as you turn back to the opposite direction. Devide the clicks by two. Turn back the other way by that number. Your scope is now centered. Test fire at 25 yards. When close to zero, move back to 100 yards and fine tune.

Scope won't sight in

Yes, rim fire scopes can't be used on a stronger firearm as the recoil will alter the internal mechanism. I fought with scopes of all types for years until I bought a used Leopold, never finding a better one! Hope you can find one of those.

Moisture in my 3x9 Bushnell Banner Scope

In the past, I have successfully dried out scopes and binoculars by them in a warm oven.NO MORE than 150 degrees and monitor them closely. Many plastic parts will melt at high temps and then you have an expensive paperweight.I have dried out my Pentax 12x50s ($300) several times.I should know enough to come in out of the rain but will probably never learn.Good Luck!
