Re: Hi i losted my antenna of netgar dg 834 g v3
You'll need to either obtain one from the same model of router, or contact Netgear for a replacement (they're not all interchangable, alot of them require replacements that were made by the same manufacturer for the same model).

make sure you are putting the network key correctly...if you dont know tha network key.. try the following.. . Connect a computer to the router using any one of the 4 available ports. 2. Open the browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Safari). 3. Access the router usually by typing 'http://192.168.0.1' or 'http://www.routerlogin.com' in the address bar. 4. Login to the router with the Username as "admin" and Password as "password" (please note that the Username and Password are case sensitive). Click on wireless settings (under setup) from left menu. Change the channel to 11 *-security option > select wep.. in KEY 1 put a ten digit number .... nothing under passphrase .. Apply settings to save the changes. *-then try to connect your PS 3 I hope the steps above will help resolve the issue. If you need any further help, please email us back so that we can continue to work on a solution. I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue.
The only option to recover or change the existing password is to connect to the router via Ethernet cable. It can't be done through wireless (that's the whole point, isn't it...)
Open a webbrowser, type http://192.168.0.1 in the address field of your browser, and then click Enter.
If you have changed the login from the default settings (username: admin, password: password) and have forgotten your password for the weblogin, then the only choice you have is to reset the router to default factory settings. In order to do that, you have to press and hold the WPS button and the Wireless button on the side of the router until the Test LED turns on (about 10 seconds). Then release the buttons and wait for the router to reboot.
Now you can log in and reset your wireless security. (Remember that you have to fill in all other changes you have made as well, so keep your DSL username and password handy!)

This 10dBi omni directional antenna enables you to very easily extend the range of your wireless network. By linking the Omni Antenna to your wireless router, you gain the benefits of an optimum wireless signal while minimising the number of ‘dead spots’ (points in your home where the signal is either weak or lost). However it does not fit the following types of routers, modems and accespoints: WL-143 WL-122v2 WL-114/WL-517 WL-114v2 WL-108/WL109 WL-111 WL-106 WL-025 WL-018v2
These antenne's will also fit other brands of wireless products that use an SMA connector
