Question about SanDisk Sansa e260 MP3 Player
I have a sansa E260
I recently purchased one of these:
I thought that i could use that as a wall charger, but i soon learned that it didnt work, when i plugged it in the sansa it lit up but then it turned off again... So it didnt charge with that. Then i plugged it in my computer to let it charge and i think it charged for about 3 hrs and it was still only 1/2 way full and if i would listen to music about 20 min later the battery would show red (battery low). Then i left it charging for about 4-5 hours, and it was the same results i want to know is there anything i can do to every get it charging the way it should be?
*I thought it might be because it was a deffective battery but i tried 2 different sansa battery and nothing changed.*
*I tried formatting it and updating to the latest firmware no results*
*I also tried using the recovery tool with no results as well*
Any help or suggestions will be aprecieated!
You tried everything that could be done. There is an internal component that is defective that will not allow ANY battery to keep a charge. Find out from Sansa if you are still in warranty.
