There are many places you can send the camera to for repair. Depending on the manufacturer you can contact them directly concerning repair. Here is a link to an independent repair company:

Display screen on Moultrie D50/4.0 will not display letters so that I can program my camera. It takes great pictures, but no display, cannot use like this. Does Moultrie have replacement display screens....

Here is waht the Moultrie WEB site says Display
  1. Make sure you have good Duracell or Energizer batteries in the camera. Please see additional information on Freezing Temperatures and Batteries.
  2. If the camera is in warranty, send in for repair or replacement.
  3. If the camera is out of warranty, you have two options. The first is to send the camera to us for repair. There is no charge for the repair and we will cover the return shipping. This repair may take six-eight weeks. We will put a new display in it and warranty the display only for 12 months. The second option is for us to send you the part along with instructions on making the repair yourself (Hotlink to Display Instructions). If you choose to make the repair yourself, IT WILL BE AT YOUR OWN RISK. WE ARE NOT ABLE TO WORK ON YOUR CAMERA AFTER YOU HAVE OPENED IT UP. There is no charge for the part. If you would like us to send it to you, email us or call our Customer Service Department at 1-800-653-3334.

I have a Photosmart m537 camera that the lens won't retract. I have tried every recomendations that your web site has offered. The last suggestion says send it for service. Where do I send it.

Any camera repair guy can repair these. A store that specifically sells digital camera can repair these cameras easily. This is actually a common problem for this camera and its cousin, the m437.

I have been tinkering with theses cameras. The lens for the m537 (and m437 (same parts except the for the LCD)) can be removed and repaired manually. Since I am a amateur, my success rate is about 50%. It all depends on how jammed the lens. If anyone has good technique in manually repair these, I would like to know.

If it is still in warranty, it is better to send it for repair with canon or with the extended warranty company.

If it's not in warranty, then you have to send it for diagnostics and repair.

The reason for such failure may be:

1. Defective DC/DC power board;

2. Defective main board

Diagnosctis and repair of this problem requires a repairman with skills and tools to do it properly.

Depending of what is broken and to whom you send your camera for repair, the repair cost may be in in the range of $100.00 - $200.00.

Best regards,

I dropped my camera and the lens is crooked now and when i turn my camera on it sayslens error:126,1,0,-9

Usually a "lens error" is only going to be fixed by sending it into repairs or an authorized service center. I would contact the repairs department of your cameras manuacturer and they can tell you where to send it.

You can get your camera repaired many places. You can look in the Yellow Pages under camera repair, and there should be some listings. Another option is search on the web for camera repair, and there are many repair centers you can send your camera to. You could also contact the manufacturer and they should have a list of authorized service centers in your area for you. Also a lot of electronic retailers have repair centers they can send your camera to. For example you could bring your camera to a Geek Squad® precinct in one of our Best Buy™ stores and they would send it out for service. Also keep in mind that most cameras come with at least a 1 year manufacturers warranty and the should be covered if your within the warranty period. I hope this helps!

Go Ahead. Use Us.

I do not know where in Egypt, but if you explore this site, it will give you your answers as to who to call and send the camera.

If you think it may be worth the trouble, and money, then you can contact Nikon. There you can get a form and send the camera for them to give you an estimate of repairs.

You can also call the information at Nikon on that website. Nikon has trained people ready to give you advice as to what to do and where and how to send the camera for repairs.
