Refrigerator venting I Have a new Whirlpool refer that runs most of the time in our mostly enclosed kitchen. Because of the heat generated from the refer the kitchen gets warmer and warmer. Has anyone vented a refer to the outside like a dryer or do you have other options for doing this

Make sure to keep the condenser coils clean of dust and lint. This will help it to run cooler.

You should use a exhaust fan ,so that the heat generated by the refrigerator which makes your kitchen warm or hot can go outside ,and your kitchen will be not be that much warm as it is now...so go for an exhaust fan..which will keep your kitchen cool ...no matter how much heat is generated from your refrigerator...

What is the advantage of gas range than gas stove?

There is much confusion about those terms, especially when used by suppliers / online webshops. A great indepth article about the issue can be found here: http://www.ebay.com/gds/What-s-the-Difference-Between-a-Stove-and-Range-/10000000177628290/g.html

Below is - imho - the most related paragraph:

'Many people use the terms oven, stove, and range interchangeably. However, buyers that plan to purchase a stove or a range should understand the purported meanings of each of these common words. First, the term stove technically refers only to the stovetop, which includes a number of burners (typically four to six) and is used for surface cooking such as boiling, frying, pan-searing, and other methods. The oven is an enclosed device that is used for baking, broiling, roasting, and other cooking methods. It employs concentrated heat within the enclosed area, which is usually delivered via heated coils in the top and the bottom of the stove. The term "range," as defined in Webster's Dictionary, actually refers to the combination of stovetop and oven into one kitchen appliance.'

Hope this helps :)

Blinking Clean Light on Kenmore & Whirlpool Dishwashers

The blinking "clean light" is a common problem with some of the Kenmore and Whirlpool models dishwashers. The problem is usually attributed to water supply temperatures being too low when filling. Apparently, there are some issues with the temperature sensing circuits in some dishwashers that causes an error code to be generated if a certain water temperature is not achieved in a specified time interval (this time may differ between models). There is a reset sequence that you can try to clear the fault. Push the NORMAL WASH then HEATED DRY buttons in that sequence two to three times. The unit will enter diagnostics mode, but can be stopped by pressing the CANCEL button. This will clear any existing faults and should return the dishwasher to normal operation.

To keep the fault from returning, it is recommended that you run your hot water faucet in the kitchen until it runs hot BEFORE you start the dishwasher. This will heat the water in the supply line for the dishwasher (most dishwashers are fed from the kitchen sink supply line). The theory is that if you fill the dishwasher with hot water from the start of the wash cycle instead of the cool water that is normally in the lines (especially if you have a hot water tank located far away from the kitchen), this should satisfy the requirements of the temperature sensing circuits. If the fault reappears, there should be a tech sheet located inside the lower panel under the door that explains what the fault is. The flashing light will be a series of flashes, followed by a pause. If you indeed have a component problem, it will depend on the number of flashing lights in the sequence. Refer to the tech sheet to determine WHAT component is affected and how to troubleshoot.

hi try out the following settings....
Check your temperature setting.
- Check if no ice present in the evaporator, try the defrosting
- Check vents if air is present if no then check your blower if running or icing evaporator.
- Check your vents if not obstructed with stocks, or the unit is not overloaded with stocks.
- Check if compressor is running continues, if not then you need a qualified technician.

Whirlpool dryer tumbles but does not dry

the act that there is even a partial heating, bfore i say there may be a problem with the unit, I would ask that you check your venting for possible clogs/blockages. I fhte machine cant vent away the heat the it will not produce more. This is hte MOST common issue with all my dryer repairs. 2x-3x to dry clothes, start with the venting

Gas dryer/ whirlpool

well your generating heat which is a good sign, either there is a blockage in your venting() most likely source of issue!) but you say ou replaced, i would then look to replacing the valve coils, 279834, about 20 bucks, easy to replace... its possible that they open the valve upon start up allowing heat, but after being on 20-30 min they overheat and no longer open not allowing heat to generate..
