When I plug my iPod into my computer nothing happens it doesn’t charge or show up on iTunes and I toke it to best buy and plugged it into their docking radios and it charges on some of them and plays on all of them what can I do? I tried the 5 R’s.

you need to use itunes to communicate with your ipod touch...you can download it from here:www.apple.com/itunes
after this,when ipod is detected,since it shows the screen mentioned above,you will have to restore it using itunes.
it may not have completed the update to your ipod.
try going here, http://www.apple.com/itunes/ it will have the latest drivers for your ipod too, once it has loaded successfully onto your mac then plug the ipod back in. itunes will automatically open up, and once it has recognised your ipod reset it yourself in the ipod settings, then reload your music etc from the itunes library. If you have not created one yet then just copy your stuff over to itunes and then sync your ipod with the library. What until itunes tells you that the update is complete before you remove it from the computer. Once it is completed then right click your ipod and click on eject.
