You need to use a plumbing snake to clean the drain from the output of the InSinkErator, just as you would clean a sink drain. On the bottom of the InSinkErator there will be a small button that will actually be a circuit breaker. This needs to be re-set by pushing it in. I would also get an appropriate size Allen wrench and insert it into the bottom of the ISE at the center. This will allow you to turn the ISE by hand and perhaps break up any debris that might be in the unit. DO ALL THIS WORK WITH THE UNIT UNPLUGGED!!!

Water pipes make rattling sound when water turned off

This is known as water hammer and occurs when the flow of water is suddenly stopped by the shutting off of a tap. It can be silenced by making sure that all pipes are securely mounted --- that taps are changed to the screw down type that reduces the flow slowly and if every thing fails by the installation of an accumulator in the lines that absorbes the flow into a gas filled container hence slowing the flow down slowly. The accumulator is available from most plumbing shops and is a screw in fitting

Rinse water does not enter

If thewater flows though the inlet then the flow pressure should be good, if not theinlet valve is bad or there is dirt in the filter. Also check the flow at theinlet of the water line. Once the water comes into the system the WATER LEVELSENSOR - normally a pressure switch- must activate at the preset/chosen levelto give the signal to the program controller to switch on the motor. What ismost important for the motor to start functioning is that the door switch mustbe ON when the door is shut or this will be an error for starting the motor forrinse and wash.Check thislink to replace the inlet valve:http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/washing-machines/a/7/1408/how-to-replace-the-inlet-valve-on-a-washer-dr.html

Fridge water filter replaced now flows very, very slow

Hi .. first I would try and eliminate the filter as the problem. Remove the filter and try the water again. If the water flows strong, then the filter is the problem. If the water stills sputters and is low flow, then there is a partial blockage in the internal tubing , or a problem with the supply. If you roll the fridge out to get at the suppl. you could shut it off and disconnect the supply tube from the fridge, then turn the water on slowly to check the flow at the supply. If the flow is good there , then the blockage is internal.

Machine fills too slowly and continues to fill in whole cycle

Remove the water filler hoses at the machine and test the flow of each one. If very slow, check the inlet screens on the faucet ends for plugging and make sure the faucets furnish full flow. The hoses themselves can sometimes become restricting of flow--replace them if so. Next, check the inlet solenoids on the machine for proper flow and shutoff when the power to them is stopped. They may or may not be cleanable--replace them if they are trouble. Hope this helps!

Pump worked yesterday but would not shut off. I left pressure in system over night, today pressure gone, when I turn pump on, the motor runs, but no pressure or water pumped.

1.Turn off the power going to the pump.
2.Drain all the water inside the pressure tank.
3.Open the priming port plug of the pump, and fill it
full with water.
4. Put the priming port plug back in place. Close the
flow control valve and start the pump.
5. Slowly open the flow control valve to 1/8 to 1/4
open and see the flow stabilize at 20 psi of the
pressure gauge.
Hope this will help.

Slow ice maker, poor water dispencer flow

If you used a self piercing saddle valve to hook up to the water supply it is probably the source of your problem. These should never be used. You need to install a drill in type which will increase the water flow and probably never clog.
