Question about Hampton Bay 24002 Ceiling Fan
Have you checked the antenna on the fan itself, assuming there is one? It is usually a wire that comes out of the bell housing where the fan attaches to the ceiling, just a single wire. I would make sure it is there and not shorted to the bell housing in any way. After that, I would go to the mfgrs website and look up the model number to see if they post any instructions. Simple solutions first.
