Question about liftmaster Chamberlain Garage Door Opener Transmitter 300MC
My door does the same thing, I could not raise the rear of the track to get a slope on door due to clearance of garage lamp. So i made a bracket to hold a compressed gas shock to push the door the first 10 inches to help it get moving then gravity takes over. Total of 50.00 invested

If you can raise the backhang 3 or 4 inches this will keep tension on the cables. This is a very nice system, however the door must work well for this system to work.
I would also spray WD-40 on the roller shafts, spring and spring shaft bearings.
If you can't solve this, then you may need to have a pro look at it.
Hope this helps,

This is better left either to a pro or a phone chat of some kind. Thanks BB
