Dan,
You seem like the person to ask. I have a Pioneer VSX-640S. The standby light comes on when plugged in, but will not power up (display does not light). I looked at the 2 5A fuses on the inside and they were blown. I have replaced them, but they keep blowing out as soon as it powers on. It seems like the boeard on one side of the amp may have gotten hot as the inside of the case seems dark in a couple spots. Any ideas?

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!
