I bought and hp laptop but in every time i want to open microsft office home and student it tells my you have to put your product key

Have you put in your key? Current versions of Office come in a trial version that will work 25 times and need the key put in after that. It will ask every time before that to give you the chance to put in the key before the trial expires.

I have downloaded ms office 2007 trial version from internet.but i did not get any product key.please help me about this problem

The trial should not require a product key as it is free to use for a period of time. It will, however, prompt you to remind you that it will stop working if you don't get a product key. If you cancel the message it will allow you to continue using untill it expires.

Hope that helps

Free trial activation

You do not need a key to use the free trial which you obviously know. Once you have used the product 25 times you will have to buy the software in order to continue using it in full function mode. Once you purchase the software you will receive the product key. You said you have used it 25 times but you then say you didn't get to use the free trial. Did you or did you not use it?

I entered a wrong product key to my MS OFFiCE 2007!! HELP!!

Yes, you actually need to purchase the full version of microsoft office, and then you will get your own product key. To use other peoples keys is a crime. And, it won't work.

My 30 day free trial is up and my product key never s

Is this a windows product key? It should be afixed on the bottom of the laptop. If someone sold you a laptop with no COA (certificate of authenticity) then that individual broke the law. Windows XP has to be activated in order to use. After the 30 trial period, it will lock you out until it is activated. If it is telling you you have the wrong product key, you can call to activate. But, if you don't have a product key, you will need to either buy one or install a distro of linux.

My Product Key Code does not work on Microsoft Word 2007!

Did you purchase Office, or did you use the trial? A purchased boxed copy will have a code on a sticker somewhere in the box.

The code on your "hard drive"... do you mean the code on your computer's case? If so, that is your code for your copy of windows that is installed on it, and it won't work with Office.

If you already used the trial up, installing a new copy won't reset it, and the new code there won't work.

You can purchase it from the Microsoft website:

If you haven't already purchased it, you could also try the free OpenOffice from
This is FREE and you can open, create and save Microsoft Office files with it.

Product key number

In fact almost venders are giving the trial version of the office.Infact in piracy there might be several ways to break the code but I will rather say to purchase the key from microsoft for trouble and piracy free use.
