SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

How do I fix Error message 5E on samsung refrigerator RS267TD which popped up after a power surge? I have already unplugged it for 5 minutes

I must admit I know nothing about modern computerised fridges, though I do know a bit about computers.

If you don't have your computerised appliances surge protected - modern tv and radio, hi-fi, fridge and so forth are in reality either computers or contain computers - one or more of them is likely to be damaged by a power surge or voltage spike.
Sometimes even with surge protection they can be damaged.

Bear in mind if damage has occurred it is possible the error message means little or nothing.

I suggest you read the instruction manual and then contact the manufacturer's customer service for advice and then perhaps ask a local repairer the same questions.

After a series of power outages and brown outs over the weekend, our system has lost all of the predialed #'s and only one phone in the whole office (10 phone) rings.

Hello. Often the aftermath of a power outage is a power surge. If your phone system is not surge protected, this is the likely culprit. The damage done by a surge or several surges can only be assessed with a thorough diagnostic exploration. This has to be done by a technician with the proper diagnostic equipment and know how. j.

2007 Yukon - right rear caliper sticking? Breaks squeaking and grinding. Searched all over for part - left available, right on backorder. Is there a major issue with this part? Warranty issue?

Have worked on quite a few of these and have never seen issue with calipers. I do know that you sometimes have to hunt parts for a Tahoe instead of a Yukon to get the correct ones.

We bought a LG phone Model number KU9703GHS on the 10/06/2007. It recently started turning offconstaltly so it was taken back to Optus on the 06/06/2008 still inder warrenty for repair. Today we fetched it...

Have you called their corporate office? 12 month warranty is usually on parts. So if they cant fix it they have to replace it with one of equal value, it is a defect. You should have their customer service number on your bill.
You can also contact LG directly as well. If you need their phone number let me know. That is definetly unacceptable.
Keep me posted.
Thanks,
Lee

I could not find mfr on web, lots of places selling, but no hint of mfr. if you want reliable protection, get one from TripLite, APC or Belkin, most of the better brands will pay for your computer if surge destroys it.
