After 2 years of great printing...All of the sudden, no printing. I've turned everything off, re-booted, went through the Microsoft printer trouble shoot steps. No error readings on the printer. When I print, and go to printers and faces on windows...it processess for about a minute, then either an error message. Can you help?

Somewhere on magicolor's website my husband read that the driver will be available in July 2010 for the magicolor 2300. It's what I have too. Am keeping my older computer and printing from it for the time being.
Out of one or more toners. If you have removed and replaced a cartridge in error the % remaining is reset to 100%. Try to determine which color is missing in your print out (usually black), and then follow menu instructions to replace that cartridge. The ends are color coded so be sure you change the correct one. This will insure the remaining cartridges % remaining is correct.
Two Minolta 2300DL windows 7 64-bit solutions(choose oneoption):
1) Download the XP 64-bit driver and extract to a folder:
then Control Panel>Devices and Printers>Add aprinter> Add a local printer>choose USB printer port>select the "HaveDisk" button(do not select a printer) and browse navigate to where you savedthe XP 64-bit driver "MLUU_DRV.inf" driver file which installs and worksfine. Only issue is now have a 3 minutewait delay for each print job using the universal driver compared to no delaywhen printing with XP.
2) Follow the Vista USB port(not network) install guide butstill use the XP 64-bit driver.
3) 32-bit option use the Vista 32-bit driver first as thatshould work.
I am using Vista 64 and a 2300DL in the same manner as abertola003. I downloaded the Latest driver from Konica Website and everything is working well. the driver is named Konica-Minolta 2300DL (unidrv)
The sound is coming from the new toner cartridges. The roller is sticking and causing the gears to make that noise. I removed the toner cartridge and manually turned the roller until it turned smoothly. (this a little hard but it worked). no more noise!
