You need to go to Milwaukeetool.com and under part and service header click on it and it will ask if you need a parts schematic or manual, click on the parts schematic. They have excellent parts and wiring diagrams. Let me know if you need more help.

Yes the Milwaukee 6268-21 does require the use of certain jigsaw blades. You have to use T-shank type blades. You push the tension lever hold it while putting the blade in as far as it will go, then you release the tension lever slowly and it will engage the blade. You should then check by pulling on the blade to make sure it is seated properly and will not come out.
