Question about Garmin Nuvi 660 GPS Receiver
I am trying to do a map update on a Nuvi 660. Once I enter the product key, it goes to contacting server. Then it comes up and says "there was a problem creating the update file on the device"!
Firs of all I hope you are using Garmin Map Updates for 2009, not 2008. It sounds like there is a connection issue. Make sure you can go into the drive on your computer and see the device as well as access files within it. If that is all fine: I have not seen a troubleshooting section yet unfortunately with Garmin for this map update (came out about 3 weeks ago) so i would try the ones for the older versions, should be the same.
