What specific software do I need to save my phone address book to my PC?

  • basilellis Jun 03, 2008

I was not able to synchronize my V360 - I couldn't enter the ZYB password because the phone could not be moved out of the PREDICTIVE mode. My efforts were therefore unsuccessful.
    Please help.
    Sincerely
    Basil Ellis

I wonder if you have Windows Mobile Device Center running, as well as Outlook (for calendar, contacts, tasks and e-mail synchronization) installed on your PC. Link for downloading WMDC is here, anyway, for your convenience.
Hope you are able to sort your problems out soon.
Please, let me know if I can help you any further.

Try using Nokia PC Suite. Its is a management software where you can synchronize and back up your data from your phone to your computer. You can also read messages, calendar notes, transfer files and scan contact information by using it.

Upload cellphone contact numbers to pc

Tangnrock, for you to be able to upload your phone contacts to your pc, you'll need to get some things ready, Firstly, you need to install your phone pc software, pc suite if you're using either a nokia or a sonyericsson. You should also install Microsoft Office Outlook (Outlook 2003 or 2007 will do).

Then using your pc suite, synchronize your phone with your pc (you can do this by running pc suite) and then synchronize your pc suite with outlook (by choosing outlook to manage your phone data in your pc suite setup).

Thats all.

Remember you'll need either your phone usb cable or pc blutooth to sychronize your phone with your pc.
