Vertical hold needs adjustment. Check for vertical hold preset and adjust. If no preset present in the P C B of the TV, try through service mode adjustment. Service mode adjustment possible only by the authorized service provider.
One possible reason is the remote may have an "IR leak" where it is turning off the TV by emitting a signal of it's own. To verify this, simply remove the batteries and turn the TV on. If it stays on, that was the problem and you would need a new remote. If this doesn't resolve this, try a power drain to rule out over-charged capacitors:
1. Unplug the product's power cable so the device is not grounded to the house.
2. Press and HOLD the product's own power button for 1 minute to drain the capacitors.
3. Plug the product back into a wall outlet and try to turn it on.
Note: This procedure works with battery operated devices as well so remove the batteries and
hold down it's power button. Electricity can remain in capacitors and on circuit boards
enough to prevent normal functionality. By clearing the residue electricity, your product
will have a fresh start and many times this will resolve a buggy or non-responsive device
that appears to be dead.
First thing is try to take out the batteries out of the remote control Then if the problem persist, unplug the set for a couple of hours if not over night. If that dosent work then check to see if any of the front panel buttons may be stuk .. If all of this was checked its time to call in a repairman as you have a microprocessor circuit or EEPROM fault or the five volts going to the reset is too low. Good Luck
