Help finding an ac power supply

I was given a desknote i-buddie xp notebook a while back and its power supply has burnt out! I'm trying to find a new suitable replacement but having no luck! The ac adapter that was supplied was a liteon a929 120w 4.74a that has 3 pin holes to fit in the laptop. I've trailed ebay, ebuyer and emailed liteon themselves but no luck anybody know where i can get one from???
I'm happy to accept all help my email is and you can use that to get hold of me on msn as well.
Thanks in advance

Does the above have a fuse inside the case / AC power supply? PC has suddenly developed a start up problem - power on light flashes once for a split second then power (appears to) cut off. Any idea(s) as...

yes you will find 2 or 3 fuses inside the power supply, see and smell for some burnt parts, like trancistors it will be 3 or 5 legged device with a metal back.
if some thing is burnt do not replace fuse the power supply needs to replaced.
beware replace fuse only if no parts are burnt, do not test in open state to avoid electrical shock.

I have given additional ac supply to it something went wrong now it is not working

Rohit, With additional AC supply you have most likely burnt the amplifier. But there may still be hope if only the power supply unit of the device has been burnt. Open up the rear panel of the unit that has the power cord coming into and look for burnt and burst components. The whole modules would have to be replaced with exactly the same specs.Do it. if you feel that you cant handle it then go to the service center of the brand that you have.

I accidentally unplugged the power supply and my laptop is dead now. I tried to turn it on but it wont. help please

Disconnect the Ac adapter. Remove the battery from the laptop. Press and hold down the power button for 10 seconds. connect only the Ac adapter and try to power on the system. If the system powers on shutdown and put the battery back in.

Cannot find where you put the battery on the ECSI-Buddie A900

It seems that the battery is optional and external.

This is an excerpt of manual (you can get it here):

The system provides you an optional battery with two connectors (3 & 4-pin) on one side to the DeskNote and the other side to the AC adapter.
  1. Use the 3-pin connector cable to connect between the DeskNote and battery.
  2. Plug the AC adapter's connector into the 4-pin connector of the battery.
  3. Connect the power cord to the AC adapter and then to a wall outlet. "

Ibook g4 rebuild

Hi there.
Make sure you have the voltage and amperage right first before you try and power up the motherboard.
Most laptop motherboards run on 15, 19 or 20 volts and take a different amperage like 3.42A for example.
The power in will be displayed underneath the ibook so take a look there.
Don't plug a 24 volt power supply into it unless it specifies that because you could damage the board.

Good luck with project

Battery will not charge

It's your ac adapter that is causing this issue. The ac adapter doesn't supply enough power or doesn't supply any power at all to the battery. Try to borrow another ac adapter from any inspiron system and if that works, then you need to replace the ac adapter, else, it's the motherboard.

Hope you find it helpful.

Power conversion

Dont do any thing with your printer power supply and just purchase Step-Down AC Transformer. Its input will be 220Volts AC and will out 110Volts AC. One thing important, read the printer power consumption watts and get proper one. Got the point buddy?
