I have a kenmore oasis elite top loader which is made by whirlpool. we have replaced the machine control panel and the electronic panel behind the dial. the washer is skipping time during the cycle then giving a code of oL at the end of the cycle. when i take the clothes out i have to wring them out by hand as they have only partially spun out.

replace electronic control board check with company this may be under a recall

ld means lond drain. clear the drain from the pump to end

oasis checks are complex if this is what it is, most likely you will have an error code, what is it? If its not an oasis, but a reg top loader, replace the motor/transmission isolation coupler.

its the power button its a common prob use a soldering iron and switch it with the load sinal button this happpens as the washer alallows moisture to get on the board as its not protected it will save u a ton of money and anyone can do it

I had a very similar problem with my Oasis He Washer 110.27087603. The machine was randomly cycling through different water temperature indication lights. It would repeatedly beep and not allow a wash cycle to complete. Fixya.com alerted me to the "upgrade" to the electronic control W10112112 to W10189966. My machine was scheduled service and a Sears tech replaced that board. My problem with random cycling continued and the tech stated the touch panel electronics; part # 8564392 would fix the problem. He said one of the microswitches on the panel was probably stuck and not allowing the machine to enter a wash cycle. I found the 8564392 panel at http://www.prosupplyco.com/search.aspx?find=8564392 for a very reasonable price. Realize that Whirlpool parts are Whirlpool parts and Sears doesn't hold the only key to them.

That would the user interface board (touch panel)behind the dash. Sorry, but not a cheap fix at all. Maybe search Ebay for the part, sometimes you can find it cheaper. Very expensive part and repair. Good Luck to you. Jim
