Question about Dyson DC14 Animal Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum
Sounds like a clogged hose. Try to roll a marble or small rock through hose. If it doesn't go through, it's clogged. If you've got a shop or canister vacuum, try hooking your hose to the exhaust port of other vacuum. Detach your hose from your vacuum first. Turn on other vacuum, attempting to blow out or dislodge clog. You can also try using an air pressure hose, or getting a long length of PVC pipe, to help clear it. Do not use sharp/pointed objects.
If the marble rolls through, check the flex hose inside the power head, This may be clogged and need to be unplugged. If it can't be unclogged without damaging it, it will need to be replaced.
