To download and install the System Update Readiness Tool, follow the steps below:

Speed up my PC, is a Virus in itself, remove totally. Limewire is just a Virus doorway. I fear that the best "Fix" maybe a full reinstall, or use system restore to restore to another time BEFORE you installed Limewire, etc. press F8 at bootup, select Safe Mode, when at the choosing screen, choose, to restore your system to another time, then when the calender thing comes up, simply choose a restore point before you installed limewire and follow the instructions and reboot, that should get you back to the way you were, limewire and speed up my PC, infected you.

Depending which version of Limewire you have updated to, and what Mac you have the Mac OS may no longer support the Java it needs to run.
First try updating your mac to the most current version. If that doesn't help you, take lime wire and throw it in your trash.
Look for an older version of Limewire I know 4.18.8 works very well on older Macs.

This could be because your internet is dropping it's connection for a moment and the download management software that you are using does not support Resume Capability. I recommend that you download a program called Free Download Manager (FDM) which supports this feature as well acts as a download accelerator. You can download it by clicking the following link: Free Download Manager

Now that you have Free Download Manager you can try and download Limewire from a torrent or a different location. Here are some links that you can try:

If you have recently got a new router, there would be a firewall on the router blocking the required ports for LimeWire to operate. To get around this, refer to your Router's user manual and find out how to access it and then unblock those certain ports. PLEASE NOTE: Do not attempt to unblock all the ports as this will increase the risk of getting your router and perhaps your computers infected with viruses.

If that is not your problem, you may be using and ISP (Internet Service Provider) that has blocked those ports as downloading music uses a lot of bandwidth which is a burden on them. If you have Satelite Internet, this is probably the case. You can try and resolve this by contacting your ISP and negotiating a price for them to unplock the port for you.

Very easy..Just use windows update feature to update it with the latet updates..

You can upate it using this link www.update.microsoft.com

Open your norton 360 and then updates by clicking upates menu. it will directly updates your norton to the symantec websites or you cam manually updates downloading the update here : dhttp://www.symantec.com/avcenter/download/pages/US-N95.html
After updating restart your system to automatically fixed some errors. If the system still same error just click the balloon on the taskbar and select "i have my antivirus (not probably same word)" something like that. if Finally same error encountered uninstall the norton 360 and again reinstall after rebooting and updates. don't worry about the alert, you know already that you are protected.
