I downloaded the owners manual from www.usersmanualsite.com but did not see how to undo the grill. However if you go to http://www.holmesproducts.com/Fans.aspx (the fans official site) you should be able to ask them on what to do.

SOURCE: I have a Holmes electric

Here at fixya we don't sell any product or parts. We can advice you some online shop to find what you need. However in your case there in not any shop that selling any parts for the electric fan on stand not only for Holmes but any brand. The factorys they don't distribute any replacing parts to suppliers and they don't sell the direcly either.
So the only option you have is to mutch the screw cap with one of an broken fan that is mathing yours. You can even buy the simple moder with 16 inch and use the srew cup at link

Why is my Holmes HASF-1710 not getting power

This may be a duplicate post but here's my advice. Do a little disassembly to get to the "guts" of the fan. It is not uncommon for the speed control switch to break in such a way as to not allow the circuit to be completed. You may have to actually remove the switch and inspect it to be sure of this. I've had trouble finding replacement switches so I have put them back together with superglue. If this is your problem and you choose to use this solution just be sure all the switch parts get put back where they belong. If this is not your problem, break out the ohm meter and start checking your connections. Hope this helps

Hi, I have a pedestal fan (16") for which am looking for spare parts. I need - fan blade (5 blades) - the clips that hold the base grill and the front grill Make: Holmes Model:...

Seriously?? It's a $30.00 fan. IF you could get parts for it, they'll cost you more that the original price of the fan, but I guess if you insist. Go here and call them or chat online, they'll tell you if parts can be had.
