In the first part use the following leads
1. Keep the Power amp as the base and connect to the Cd input the CD player, the tuner to the tuner input, the cassette deck - play output to the tape in ( amp) and Rec out of tape to the tape out(amp).
connect all the RCA sockets with the R&L in the same side of the input/output.
Now the graphic equaliser input must be connected to the Amplifier's preamp output and the equaliser's output must be connected to the Amplifier's preamp input.
Now the equaliser will work through the amp.
The left and right speakers can be connected accordingly with the polarity in order.
The second system can be connected similarily with the cassette deck, tuner and cd player connected to the input of the Amplifier using the R&L RCA sockets.
Connect the speakers accordingly and test.
Please connect each RCA cord one by one and do not mix them up.

Kenwood sw-35ht Replace with a kicker sub

I suppose you could, but you are talking about a driver (speaker) that was not designed for that cabinet size and amplifier used in the Kenwood, There are differences in speaker design besides power rating and impedance.

I have a kenwod krf-v5050d amp (old I know). I have my blu ray hooked up via an optical cable however I can not get any sound through the speakers from it. I know it shouldnt be the speakers or the amp...

xjackdeth,

All systems with multiple audio/video inputs for each connection must be told what connection you want it to play. Most likely your selected choice of input is set to an input other than digital. I included a link to download the manual for your Kenwood model; see page 9 for "Input mode settings".

First use the input selector knob to select the input you are using for the blue ray player, then press the input mode button to select digital auto; the Kenwood should take a few seconds to switch over and then you will be in business.

Sony Model DAV ? SB 500W Home Theatre System

Please check at rear of TV for Digital Optical IN port as home theater should have optical out port at rear. If you got any optical in port in TV, just connect optical wire between TV and home theater.

2nd option is check Line Out pins at rear of home theater system, if found, hook red-white RCA cable there and put it to same input in TV where you hooked Video (composite or component) cable.

Let me know the results to help you more.

My kenwood surround sounds fuse blew and know theres no sound?

Never bridge a fuse in your life again this is the wrongest thing to do.. Check first there should be IC's skrewed onto a heatsink, some surrounds uses Transistors you should be able to see the burnt ic it will be cracked or burnt, replace that replace fuse if fuse still blow then replace all the ic's on heatsink..

Install

Hi,

Assuming that Kenwood KDC-135 is fully operational then your only concern would be matching the Kenwood wires to the Camry's wiring.

Most Toyota Camry uses the below wiring scheme. I have taken the liberty of including the corresponding Kenwood wires.

Hope that this be of some help. Pls post back how things turned out or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.
