Where has this error appeared? ie. is it on the screen of the copier? is the spanner showing? did it print out the error when you try to print from the computer?

My Toshiba e-studio 45 displays "close duplexer cover" and stops there. The cover sensor is fine. The circuit is open somewher-where?

Hello

I encountered the same problem a few years back, I found the power supply to be faulty.
You can try checking all the fuses on the power supply.

Sorry that is all i have at the moment.
I will see if i can download the pcboard repair manual.
Please let me know where i can email it to.

Regards

this is a finisher error code.
turn off power then grasp the lower tray of finisher on both sides and shift up as far as it will go. turn power back on and see if that works. worse case disconnect the finisher from top rear of machine-at least the copier should still work and copies will go into middle.

That code means that the fusing film is out of Home Postion or the film is ripped. You will need to most likely have the fixing film replaced. You are proble going to have to get a service to repair it.
