Most likely failed capacitors in the power supply. I recently had the same problem with my 26 month old Samsung LN46A750. Samsung paid for the installation of an upgraded power supply board.

I have a samsung 50 plasma tv that will not turn on now. If I unplug it and plug it back in it makes a clicking sound 4 or 5 times then nothing happens.

Probably bad capacitors. Samsung TVs are famous for this. Relative easy fix for a technician that knows how to do board level repairing

Maybe it's time 4 a new t.v. Do you leave t.v. on a lot or play a lot games. Turn off your t.v. when not using. Is t.v. old, get a new new one. You will be you did. The newer sets have HD which make for better viewing. I suggest an LED and not a Plasma.

I HAVE A SAMSUNG 42 INCH PLASMA HD PWER WENT OFF WONT COME BACK ON AND THERE IS A CLICKING NOISE COMING FROME TH EBACK OF THE TV

Sounds like power supply or control board problem. Trace down the noise and replace board. Sounds like 100-150.00 problem - hope wrong.

Hd tv makes a hjgh pitched sound whats wrong

Hi, the high pitched sound is coming from the coils or transformers on the power supply.
you can isolate the noise by removing the back and with the set on press gently with a plastic handle/item on each coil till you stop the noise. , you will probably have to replace the coil or the whole power supply, but sometimes you can tilt it over or secure it with silicone and it will stop rimging.
please click a thumbs up it this helps solve your problem

NO VIDEO

I have a Samsung 50" plasma, that has been blacking out over the last 6 months. A 9/2005 set. Now its practically unwatchable as it happens 3 times in an hour. Its not heat related - I have a high volume 9" fan activated on TV power on. Turning the set offf/on usually makes it come back for a now short while. Considering to go put it in the back of my pickup and park it in front of Best Buy and discourage Samsung purchases. This is the 2nd Samsung TV I've purchased (the other a 32" tube) I gave to my folks a couple years ago and its gone bad as well. Samsung product may look good, but their video engineers are not.
