Re: Hardisk have difrent amount
Because Compaq has a hidden partition on you're C:\
Stored in that hidden partition is Compaq's restore drivers & software. If & when you need to run the restore CD on the Compaq, the restore CD enter's that partition & uses the software to help in the process of restoring the C:\ drive to factory settings. (This is normal for most Compaqs).

If your computer will nor start and the system fans do not turn on and stay on when you power on your PC, then either the power supply has failed, a component connected to your motherboard has failed or the motherboard itself is defective .
Power supplies require a "power good" signal back from the motherboard before they will operate.. In order to test a power supply, you need a PC power supply tester. Without one, you will either have to take you power supply to a PC technician and have him test it or install a known good power supply in your computer.

I take this to mean the screen is cracked and getting worse. The only way to repair a cracked screen is to replace it. You can send this to a company like mine or someone locally. Why not call HP about a warranty replacement?
Compaq tends to be rather proprietary in their designs, usually a Compaq motherboard will only fit in a Compaq case, a Compaq power supply will only fit a Compaq case. That said there are exceptions such as hard drives, memory, etc.. If your present case is damaged you would do best to find another of the same model that isn't working and transfer your components.
once you login to the safe mode and try to resolve it .. i am sure your problem will be resolved in the safe mode ...
because safe mode loads will the minimal set of drivers it is usually used to resolve the hardware conflicts, graphics related problems ..
you can go to the safe mode by pressing the F8 key at the system boot then you must select safe mode and press enter on it .. after that you will be in safe mode after some seconds .. then you can try to resolve the conflict ..
any further problem you can leave me a new comment ...
Some computers have problems with having two operating systems, such as your xp and 2003. You could try deleting the 2003 server and downloading xp only. If your os does not work after doing this then it is a safe bet that the problem lies with the xp software you have (It might have a corrupt file on it) and you might need to get a new copy of xp. If all else fails then your 2003 server should be a fine substitute for your os
