More likely the power supply porblem due to dying DC filter caps.
If you are going to DIY and have proper tools and know safety precaution then please read on:
Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply (they should be replaced in a set), blown fuses; poor solder joints, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed monitors to get some ideas what to look for: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums
Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further and it will help out other people in the future also.

Magnavox tv has intermittent pixelation and snow breaking through on picture on all channels. Have had cable service out twice to replace digital DVR box but still a problem. Brand new HDMI cable too.

If your TV is connected to the cable box with only an HDMI cable, the problem should either the cable company equipment or outside interference. A bad HDMI cable with cause intermittent or continuous complete loss of picture. Try plugging the HDMI cable from the cable box into a different TV (if you can borrow one) then you can prove if the problem is with the TV or the cable equipment. Maybe a neighbor has a ham radio that is causing interference? (They will have a tall antenna at there house, so easy to see.)

My monitor comes on then shuts rite off

Hello

Go to the monitor's menu and do a factory reset. Then go to Control Panel --> Power Options -> change plan settings and do a restore defaults.

it's also possible that you are losing the video signal. Check the cable connections,Check the power cable to ensure the monitor is properly plugged in and that the outlet is getting power.

Look at the cables connecting the monitor to the hard drive. A loose cable could result in a loss of power intermittently that forces the monitor into Sleep Mode. If any of the cables are frayed or if the connections are bent and not fitting correctly, they should be replaced.

make sure that your graphics card driver is up to date. You should also make sure that your monitor doesn't need specific drivers, and if it does, make sure these are installed too.

How is your charging system? Sounds to me like it's not charging your battery, so it runs until the battery cannot support the ignition load.

Switch will not start generator on low voltage or phase loss, will start with complete power loss

Check if the cables that monitors the lines are connected to the circuit board. Check if the voltage at supply line is same at board. If is same something is wrong with your circuit board or settings, check for any loose cable, check for a dc battery and check if that dc battery is good( if not replace). Check your settings and adjust if necessary might not have them set correctly. Care-full when checking the ATS remember if you have a main switch turn it off before checking it.

My monitor screen is ok for awhile but suddenly turns a dull yellow color. I just bought it a few months ago.

Hi,
you must adjust the display settings in the software program that was being used to change the display setting.
  • If you have a flat panel LCD monitor, unplug the monitor power cable, wait about 30 seconds, reconnect the cable and then turn on the monitor. This resets the electronics on the monitor.
  • Make sure the monitor has power - the light on the monitor is on. If the light on the monitor is off, the monitor does not have power. Connect it to a different power outlet.
  • If the monitor has a detachable video cable, obtain a second monitor cable for testing purposes in case the cable is bad.
  • follw the another steps-
  • Replace the monitor power cable.
    1. Turn on the monitor. If the monitor displays an image, you are done. If the monitor remains blank, continue using these steps.
    2. Replace the video cable. Turn on the monitor. If the monitor displays an image, you are done. If the monitor remains blank, continue using these steps.
    3. If the monitor does not work after replacing the cables, replace or service the monitor
  • Thanks,
