If that the case then that files were gone away then if you want to recover all the inportant files then you ahve to use the Program"recover my files" you can search in google and then download and install to the system..

How do you install windows 7 on HP pavilian 754n? plz tell me quick because we just bought windows 7 and it doesnt work on the computer. thx you!

First you will need the Window 7 operating system cd.
place the cd in the cd room and let the auto run take place. this is not a quick process
it will take several minutes. If the operating system is not loading you may have a different problem

My system is not booting up I click on safemode it

put in your recovery disks or OS disks that came with the machine when you purchased it. There should be a repair option, if not you might need to recover the data on there and do a clean operating system install. That is of course if its a software issue.

My pc is super slow at startup. It takes a long time to boot when you first turn it on.

Start the PC, go to start menu-->run, then type "msconfig".
Look around at the boot and services tabs, and disable some software you know and could live without if it didn;t automatically load.
That should speed booting up. If not, and it is several months ago that you installed WIndows, try to reinstall it.
However, do backup all your data before you do that, everything on your Windows partition will be lost in reinstalling.

What are the prompts?

sorry for the late reply. I am not familiar with recovery console of the systemax, but i assume that all recovery disk are all the same.

can you show me a pic after you hit enter.

Do you know how to boot from cd? anyway booting from cd you can the information from your manual.

When using the the recovery disk, i think there are two option, either you retain the the original files only the windows system files will be deleted and restore and format the entire harddrive and refresh you system from first day you bought.

just insert your cd and boot your pc from cd rom and then you will be guided.

just tell me incase;

Disk space

id recommend something like the above item, your pc will recognise this as a new hard drive and will assign it a letter in the my computer folder. You will have to move your items yourself unless you buy an automatic backup software program. Personally i think that would be a waste of money. Your windows installation will be less than 10Gb so you have a lot of other stuff on there, music pictures, movies etc. Its these things that you can move to this new drive, by dragging them from their folders into new folders on the new drive. this gives you a certain amount of backup just in case your machine needs resetting the files are separate, and the new drive can be unplugged and plugged into a new machine.
