Try cleaning the paper feed rollers in (above) the tray. and the rollers on the right side (theres 3 gray rollers) If thats works you will need to replace the rollers soon.

Copier Sharp AR-M237 a Misfeed Occurred message

First try a different tray to see if it works, if it does than the paper tray you are using may have dirty feed tires or look for something obstructing it.

F3 ERROR CODES

This code indicates a fault with the paper tray lift-up motor. F3-12 = tray 1, F3-22 = tray 2 etc. To clear this fault switch off at the power supply and empty the indicated tray of all apaper and jams. Operate the lift up section and then close the drawer with NO paper in drawe. Switch on again and after the machine boots up replace the paper in the drawer. This usually works fine unless there is a serious problem with the lift-up motor.

Sharp AR-M550 with a paper tray error F3-12

When I first arrive to any service call the first thing I look for is the service log.

Locate the service log on the rear,side or inside the front cover.

Check the last error code and corrective action.

=====
F3-12, Paper does not lift in the tray
=====

Identify how many lift tray is inside your machine.

Check each sensor(s) for smooth operation.

LOOK inside for crack plastic on the lift tray.

Sensor can be defective (non-operational) and no cutting off power to the motor and damage the motor,metal frame and plastic tray.

===========

Use a small METRO VACUUM with a clean bag,

Vac the interior of the unit,

Look for fragment of plastic tray or sensor arm inside the vacuum bag.

Pass the information to a Sharp authorize shop.

Usually, it flashes "P" in the display for Paper.
Either the paper tray is empty or the feed rollers tried to pull the paper out of the tray and it failed.
If there is paper in the tray, then the feed rollers might be dirty or worn.
Try cleaning the roller with something like Fantastic, or a multi purpose cleaner.
And see if that helps. IF the rollers are worn, then they would need to be replaced in order to get your machine back to normal.

Hope this helps.
Good luck.
Mac =)

Sharp AL-800 Paper Feed

Is this something that has been getting worse or just happen at once? If it just appeared it good be something in the paper tray stopping it from liftting or something behind the paper tray or in the paper path of the copier. If it has been slowly happen try to clean the paper pickup rollers with WD-40 and a rag and clean the rubber only. If that works you done, but if it say's to add paper you may have a broken paper present sensor. The jams could also be the paper feed clutch is worn out. Worse case use the bypass tray. Good Luck!!
