i plug in my new iomega 500GB external hard drive but nothing happens?
no light shows up, nothing on my computer?
what should i do?
its like it doesnt recognise the hard drive.
i put my flat mates one in and it works fine

- I have the same problem. The hard drive is dead. I purchased it in November of 2007 and it is still on warranty. Iomega will replace the hard drive, but charges for data recovery. This is the first and last Iomega product that I will ever buy! - MaryschJun 14, 2008
