Question about Mitsubishi WD-52327 52" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television
I will try to help you with your problem. I am Mitsubishi certified technician and I do repair TVs like yours every day.
The way TV 'lamp" LED acts is telling us that there is abnormality with the lamp. Code "34" that you retrieved means the same.
First step is to replace the lamp. Mitsubishi TV "does not like" substitutes from E-Bay. I would strongly recommend to get lamp from Mitsubishi. It should cost around $225.
Your lamp is located behind the lamp door. You can remove front grill below screen (it just pops out easy) and you will see the door to the left of the center. Because your TV turns on for short period of time - that's mean that lamp did not exploded yet and visual inspection would find nothing. Especially for untrained eye. Just replace lamp with the new one and put lamp door back making sure it's fit the way it should. Otherwise safety switch behind the door won't be depressed and TV will not turn on. You will have yellow blinking LED in this case.
If you already replaced lamp with original one and still have same issue - that mean ballast got damaged by old lamp and needed to be replaced as well. That would be more complicated to replace. Let me know if lamp replacement solved the issue. If not - I will sent you manuals and part numbers that will help you with ballast replacement. Your lamp part number is: 915P020010. Get it directly from Mitsubishi or authorized reseller.
