This is what to do when you have a problem like this. Get a screw diver, open the phone and bring out the key pad.
There is a paper on the key pad which you should gently open and use a methylated spirit to and a tooth brush to clean the surface properly and put it close to a bulb for 30 minutes to dry up.
After this, gum the paper back and the key ad will start to work.
