Question about Motorola Mobility NET10 Cellular Phone
Hi, if the phone was working with that sim card before or with a sim card from the same network then this means the sim card reader on the phone needs replacing, the problem with this is its an expensive part to replaced so you would have to shop around to get a decent price and thats if it would work out worth doing due to the costs involved
but if your not sure what network the phone is locked to then its just a case of getting the right sim card you can take the phone into any phone shop and they will tell you exactly what network its locked to and they wont charge you fro doing this, at least then you will be able to get the correct sim card.
if you know what network the phone is locked to and you have tried the correct sim card then this means it needs the sim card reader replacing and this is not a cheap job and the phone will need sending off to have this done.
let me know if you need further assistance ok.
actually one thing you can try is when you put the sim card in try and wedge a folded piece of paper behind the sim card so its pushing down on the sim card reader a bit better this may get it working.
plz rate this solution as i have a whole page of unrated posts, thanks

You will need to call Net10 and have them send you a new SIM card, however when you do this, you will have to register and activate the phone again.

When you have problem like this on your phone, it may be the sim card and it may be the phone.
Firstly, try the sim card on another phone, if it does not work with another phone then you will have to change the sim card from your service provider but if it works then you have to work on the phone.
Clean the sim seat with a methylated spirit and allow it to dry up for 5 minutes.
But if this does not work you will need to flash the phone.
Flashing the pone and be easily done when you contact the local repairer who will get this done at cheap rate because he has the soft to flash the phone which does not have and getting i will be more expensive for you. So it is better to go to the local repairer.
