I have already replaced the door lock switch with another new one that has the same part number as mine and I am still getting the error message [DO] E41. Also I have checked the soap dispencer sensor with the ohms meter and I put the sensor by the magnet and used the wirers coming from the sensor and the ohms meter beeps showing it has connection. i was told by some else here that it has to be the control board with this checking good.

Hi, yes you are 100% correct, that fault you describe is indeed the controller board.
Whenever we have a situation like this, after replacing the relevant sensors, and it still stays the same, we then must suspect the controller. they are usually the problem anyway, they are not very robust anyway.
So you need to obtain a new controller board, and replace it. I am sure this will fix your problem.
If you have a meter you might like to meter the Door switch, connection, the Input, should go Low, down to Zero Volts, when the door is opened, IF the Input is "Stuck" then this input will NOT change.. even if it does, it is still possible for it to be a main board, as even though the signal may be there the Micro, may simply not be "Reading" that "Port", due to the Micro being faulty itself.

The problem is definitely the door lock and switch assembly as the code signifies. Replace the door lock and switch assembly (part #131763202) to address the problem.

Disconnect power to the machine. Open the washer door then look for the retaining hoop securing the door seal around the lip of the door opening. Stretch the retainer spring of the door seal retaining hoop then remove it.

Carefully peel off part of the door seal from the lip of the door opening near the door lock and switch assembly. Remove enough of the door seal to gain access to the door lock and switch assembly.

Put the new door lock and switch assembly back into position in the front panel and secure it with the securing screws.

Properly put the eased part of the door seal back over the lip of the door opening then secure it with the retaining hoop.

Check the connection (J2 and J3) between the door lock and
    switch
assembly and the control board. Make sure the connections are good and
snug fit. Reseat the connections several times to clean off
dirt and corrosion build up on the connectors
    and terminals.

Check the wiring harness connections on the door lock and switch
assembly and do the same to the connectors. Also make sure
the wire harnesses connecting the control board and the door lock and switch assembly are intact and have continuity. It is pretty sure that the control board always "thinks" that the door is open and it is the culprit if the error code persists with the door lock and switch assembly replaced and the wire harnesses and connectors are all but good.

Error code 32

Hello Lance - Error code 32 for Frigidaire models means there is pressure sensor calibration problem. This will need to be checked and a repair performed by a technician since they must do the following: inspect the wiring between the pressure sensor and the main control board. Correct the defective wiring and/or replace the pressure sensor or main control board.

You are experiencing a vent issue - While in wash cycle, Main Control Board does not receive signal from vent assembly that vent plunger is closed. Plunger status is sensed with optical sensor in vent assembly. Check wiring between vent assembly and Main Control Board. If wiring correct, replace vent assembly. If error still exist, replace Main Control Board.

My Frigidaire front load washer doesn't spin, it turns during the wash cycle, doesn't show an error code, but doesn't spin the load at all, it is model CLTF2940ES0. Is it something simplet to fix?

Hello,

Welcome to FixYa.

Based on what you've described,...you likely need a door lock/switch assembly. The closest I found to your model is actually CLTF2940ES0.

The door latch is likely the single most common fault (which prevent's any spin, and consequently drenching wet clothing at the end of the cycle) with the frigidaire/electrolux built washer's, aside from pump's being obstructed.

I think it fool's many people because the lock indicates it is energized on the panel, however the built in "monitor" switch inside the assembly fail's. I do see a lot of these particular machine's...unfortunately.

You should be able to purchase one at most local brick

Getting an E6E error on my Frigidaire GLTF2940ES2 washing machine. What does it mean? The code is not in my owners manual. Machine starts but stops after a few minutes. It is now full of wet clothes and...

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Error E6E is a communication error between the motor control board and machine control. To resolve this you’ll need to check the wiring between the control board and the machine control board. If that is fine then replacing the control board should resolve the issue, you can buy its parts from this link. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

My Frigidaire affinity washer doesn't start: the "door locked" button doesn't come on though the door is closed properly

If the washer fills with water, but will not start the wash cycle or spin, it is 1 of to things. the most common for frigidaire front load affinitys is the door lock assembly. I have had to replace numerous of these. if the door lock indicator is not on when it tries to wash, you need to replace the door lock assembly. if the door lock indicator is on, but wont wash, it is likly that you have a bad motor control board.
