Switch the camera on and put it into the playback mode, this position is indicated by a blue arrow pointing to the right in a little box. Then select the image you wish to eliminate by using the left/right keys on the 4-way control on the back, and press the button marked with an icon of a dustbin. At the bottom of the LCD screen, two boxes will appear marked 'erase' or 'cancel'. Using the left/right keys once more, select 'erase', then press the 'SET' button. The image will be eliminated. Repeat the procedure to eliminate further images. Dinty

You may download Sony software from here.

You don't need to use Sony software. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

Hi i m new at slr camera , i buy canon 500d , and when i take a shot , flash light twice or more before take the shot then flash be busy then take shot with flash did it a problem or what/

Check to see if you have the flash set on "red-eye". This causes the flash to pre-flash to eliminate red-eye in your photos. It's a real pain for most photos but if you're shooting in low light, it will eliminate the red-eye.

I TOOK SOME PHOTOS WITH THE CANON POWER SHOT A530 (ABOUT FIVE). I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO VIEW THE INTERNAL MEMORY PHOTOS. ALSO CAN I HAVE THEM SWITCHED TO THE SD CARD? I DID'NT KNOW AT THE TIME THE CARD WAS...

First, promise to never use the internal memory again. Go into the menu and there should be an entry for "copy" which should allow you to copy the internal memory to a memory card. After that, you should "format" the camera with no card inserted to erase the internal memory.

I scan my camers memory card it shows 62 viruses

How are you getting viruses on your card? Are you using your computer to add pics to the card? If so, that's the problem. You need to format the card in the camera.

You should use a card reader to download your pics instead of the camera.

IPhoto says camera contains no photos, camera says memory card full

Take no more pics until you've recovered the photos, take the card out of the camera. Here's some freeware photo recovery software that should be what you're looking for:

http://camerarepair.blogspot.com/2007/12/recovering-those-accidentally-lost.html

You will need to use a flash card reader with this software. If you don't have one, get one, they're cheap:
