"No sound from the amplifier but I can hear a faint pop when switching on" That means that a component, probably an IC, had blown on the Amp final circuit.

The amp must be tested and inspected by a technician.

I am looking for the manuals for Technics SE-A808 Stereo Power Amplifier ST-K808 Quartz Synthesizer Stereo FM/AM Tuner/Preamp SH-R808 Infrared Wireless Remote Unit Kind Regards John

I don't believe that these are available electronically without cost. If you can describe the problem you are trying to solve, I may be able to guide you through the repair.

Panasonic Dvd stereo system model number SA-VK960 power supply is defective. is it possible to repair?

Your Panasonic SA-VX uses a Switch Mode Power Supply ( SMPS ). Do not ever attempt to fix it yourself unless you are well versed in electronics. ou can damage the system seriously. Seek professional help.

When i hook up my B &O turnable to Audio 1 Or Audio 2, i got sound but at very low volume even when jacked up to max. all other components blast out audio from my speakers.

It's logical, the audio output level for the turntable is very low (depending on the model about 1-5mVolts) while the line inputs (where you try to connect the turntable) can handle audio levels of 500-775mVolts. As I can see your amplifier is not able to handle this kind of inputs (assuming that your turntable is a typical one, without any include preamplifier) In case you insist on connecting this turntable on this amplifier there are some solution to suggest (mainly using a kind of pre-amplifier between the turntable and the main amplifier) but in order to be sure for what to suggest to you, please clarify me the brand / model for this turntable.

In case of a problem or clarification or further details needed, don't hesitate to post me a reply before rejecting my answer.

My STR-DE345 has no sound from the center channel, and has not had it for quite some time. Any easy fix/diagnosis? Is there a part I can buy and replace myself?

The center channel on this model uses its own amplifier circuit that is independent from the others. It is usually a 5-9 pin IC attached to the heatsink. It is likely that this IC is defective and needs to be replaced. Unfortunately, I can not know this for sure without taking measurements inside the unit. There is no simple fix for this although this is an easy repair for a service shop. Please seek professional assistance to resolve this. Expect a parts cost in the $25 range.

Panasonic sa-ht995 will not work ...... when turned on it says hello.......then f61 then turns off again how do i fix this problem?

F61 in the user manual says , check your speaker connections if ok then see your dealer, the reason f61 comes up is a amplifier fault , most likely a blown audio amplifier ic is faulty, and needs replaceing by a compenent electronic technician.

Amplifier displays "Speakers are overloaded" and switches off

Either the amplifier protection circuit is kicking in due to a fault, or your speaker wires are shorting. Could also be a fault in a speaker - shorted turns due to overdriving. Check amp with speaker leads disconnected, and if OK, see above.
