SOURCE: my hitachi NR90GC nail gun wont hold a charge in

One of my batteries is the same, it used to fire a couple of nails then flash red. Putting it onto the charger it would charge for a couple of seconds then turn off.
I thought it had blown a cell and re-celled it with new NIMH cells but it turns out it is the thermistor in the top of the battery that has failled (the silver rectangle in the top of the battery when you take the case off) this tells the charger to turn off when the pack gets hot.
You can probably get one from an electronics store and replace it, but my solution was to charge it from a Dewalt charger instead which uses a different cut off mechanism, just check the polarities on both the charger and hitachi pack BEFORE you connect up.
Hope this helps

Why wont it charge the battery

If the RED light with a battery symbol is lit on the dash while the engine is running, your alternator is bad.

Should the red light on my 15.6v dustbuster turn green when it's fully charged? It doesn't.

I had the same issue, then i just found the manual, in charging part, it says:"The charging indicator will be lit as long as the
appliance is connected to the plugged-in
charger."
Also it says:"While charging, the charger may get warm, this is
perfectly normal and safe. It can remain on
charge indefinitely without damage or danger. It
is not possible to "overcharge" the battery cells
with the charger provided"

Bmw 325i wagon slow starting then totally no turning over at all.All lights work dash is all lit up .Battery is fully charged car has faint click.but still wont turn over.I think it might be the starter...

I would try replacing the battery first. Even a fully charged battery can have bad cells which will cause the battery to not have enough "power" to turn over the starter/engine.

Hi i have an experia ant the littli led light on the top stays on red all the time

Hi.

The little red light means your battery requires charging.

Plug in the charger and allow it to charge.
It should change colour to orange when it has over 15% charge in it and then turns green when it is 90% charged.

If it still stays red dispite being fully charged. Try removing the battery for a few seconds and then replace it again.

I hope this helps.
If your phone is fully charged and it still has a red light, then take it back to the shop you acquired it and get a replacement.
It means you have a hardware fault.

I just got a brand new flip video mino hd and it wont turn on. i've charged it for atleast 4 hours. when it is plugged in the red light comes on. that is the only response i get from it. any...

I had to charge mine for 7 to 9 hours the first time, and make sure computer is left ON or it won't charge and the red light stays lit until it is fully charged. make sure the red light isn't blinking if it is, plug it into a different USB 2 port and don't use extension with it unless it is a powered USB extension.

My hitachi nailer wont fire

Start with the basics:
First check that the butane (or whatever gas is used) canister is full. If empty, put in a new one.

Second check to make sure your battery is fully charged to be able to fire the spark to work the nail gun. If not get the battery charged and/or replaced as needed.

Third make sure all of the safeties are working properly and that you have them engaged to the piece of wood you are nailing when you try the trigger.

If beyond that it does not work it could be a bad trigger, a bad safety switch, or even a bad connection from the battery to the device.

My ford focus 2000 se is having problems keeping a charge, but I am still able to push start it and it will run until I turn it off.

sounds like a drain such as glove box or trunk light not making contact to fully close the light causing it to stay lit causing a draw or a bad alternator or even a dead cell in the battery
