I have just fitted one to my IX250, works perfectly and even throttles down when full power is not needed.

I have a Toshiba Satellite L505D-GS6000 Laptop. I love this laptop as it works fine for me and has held up to my school and work stuff now for 3 years. I have been thinking about getting a new laptop, but...

Hey Brandon,
As I understand the same laptop but different CPU?
A laptop CPU can't really be upgraded, so if you want a upgraded CPU you need to buy a newer laptop. Unfortunately they just build laptops that way.
If that's not the question let me know and I'll try again? :)

Upgrade compaq armada e500

It has been a while but I think it isn't a zif but a standard low profile socket. You need a good light and check the edges to see if you can see the layers or where the cpu edges are. You should see the color differences between the plastic or the socket and the cpu. From above it will look like just a cpu but from the sides you should see the cpu overhand the socket a small bit or be flush with the edges.

The cpu has to be a M series P3 and you may need to adjust bus speeds and/or ram speed to make it work. May also have to upgrade bios as well.

Dell Latitude D610 Shuts off with no warning...

the problem is not the battery; what has happened is the coolant paste that pulls the heat away from the cpu (main) chip to the fan has dried up. you must remove the fan/heat exchanger off the motherboard and, put new paste on the chips that the heat exchanger sits on
radio shack sells the paste

Pc computer slow

By saying " installed new programs " what did you mean ?
Reinstalling XP after you upgraded ?

You might also try a driver update program such as driver detective. Or Manually update all the drivers. I doubt the motherboard is going bad making your pc run slow.

Startup or Bios Problem

Send it to service. You've probably tried to install an inconvenient version of BIOS in your computer, or the version was OK but broken or damaged. There's nothing you can do at least for now to retrieve your system because BIOS is a built-in operating system, and it has to be fixed by experts.
