I am unable to connect my iphone 4 to my router as i dont know the password, ive tried Administator and leaving it blank are they any other stand ones or will i need to reset the password?

Putting "admin" often works. Looking under the router for a sticker might reveal a password. Resetting it can be an option, but if it is a newer router, you might be lost because they don't usually have easily recognizable default passwords. They usually, nowadays, have unique passwords that are put onto the bottom of the router. Good luck.

In order to get your router back to the original settings, you must push in the reset button (usually on the back of the router) for somewhere between 10 and 30 seconds depending on the router. You may need a pin or something small to push in the button, because it can be recessed. Once you have reset the router, the username and password will be changed to the defaults, u-admin p-and password or u-admin p-1234, respectively. One thing you must remember is that resetting the router will change all of the router settings back to the factory settings. This means you will lose all of the changes you made since you got the router. Make sure to write down any things you've changed, so you can change them back after the reset. Also, I recommend updating to the latest firmware after the reset.

Try setting the D-Link back to factory specs. There is a small hole near the power cord that you can stick a straightened paper clip in to depress a micro switch and hold for about ten seconds with the power on. This will cause the router to forget its setting and revert to factory default, where the router will work with a default name that you can se but will not have a password. you must access your router later and install another password (Net Work Key) in order for the general public not to camp on your net work. look on the back of the box and see if there is a reset button. Push that for 10 seconds to reset the router to defaults. You'll reset the password but need to res-etup the router to connect to the internet.

Power up the Netgear router and press the reset button (you need a sharp pointer) on the back of the router until the LED lights flash.
The router will now reset to the factory defaults.
The wireless router can now be configured.

Lost disk for d-link router

Also, if you do a IPCONFIG/all in command prompt (Start, Run, CMD). you can note down the Default Gateway address.

then put that into a Web browser and you will be on the Login page for your Router. If you remember the user name & password you can go in that way and secure it.

the default usr name & password is listed at this Link:
http://www.phenoelit-us.org/dpl/dpl.html

go to the exact model #. and use the defaults. If that doesn't work (you may have changed the defaults & forgotten it)

go to the following support site and download the Latest drivers or software you need.
http://support.dlink.com/downloads/

Good luck,
