Here is a copy of the users manual for these pool cleaners. It has setup instructions and should help you get your cleaner running properly.

I used the manual vacuum that came with the pool during the summer because I actually got in the pool and vacuumed), but ultimately, now that it is cold, I went to the pool store and bought a much bigger vacuum (that still hooks up to the water hose) and then a longer pole. It's just too darn cold to get in the water during the winter. :-) Hope this helps!

Pool chlorinator

Hi Chris, W/D here.
Here's a few things that you may or may not have checked:
1. You didn't state the age of the cell, or type. The generally last 2-3 years. I don't know how the power to the cell was checked, but clean the cell thoroughly before moving on. I use 1 gallon of muratic acid, and soak for about 5 minutes, then flipping the cell and soaking for 5 more minutes. Wear neoprene/chemical resistant gloves, and rinse thoroughly. Save the solution, as you can get several cleanings out of it.
2. Look for a fuse on your panel. The control boards are divided into areas of function. You'll need your wiring diagram, if the areas aren't clearly defined.
Hope this helps, --W/D--

I don't know how to vacuume me pool. I have a hayward sand filter

all you need is a pole, a vacuum hose, and a vacuum head. connect the hose to the vacuum head and the head to the pole. Submerge the vacuum head and the pole into the pool and push the vacuum hose slowly straight down so that it fills with water. Once the entire vacuum hose is filled with water, plug it into the skimmer suction or wall port. You may have to adjust the valves at the pump to increase suction to wherever you have to vacuum hose plugged in to.

Hope this helps

Use of pool vacuum

Try consulting the owners manual for these pool filters for more info. I can tell you that you need to have your valve set to rinse for normal vaccuming and waste for heavily soiled pools. Hope this helps.

I have an in ground pool which is clear however
there is sediment on the bottom, how do I vacuum it

This is not a vacuum question as per the website and more of a question fro someone in the in ground pool company and they have pool cleaning equipment that works for the sediment on the bottom of the pool, my friend had one and it was called a vacuum pool snake or something like that. Sorry I could not help you with this question.

When I vacuum the pool which position of the pomp need to be: filter, waste, or backwash?

This is not a question for the vacuum website, and I suggest that you check with an actual pool company because a vac dealer would not know the answer to the question, only a pool company would know. Sorry I could not help you this time.
